Fìkh Damrăg Qos (/ˈdamrə̝g/ /qos/ [cultural] [bar (pub)]) is a subtropical Town located in Triqtkrukrakamaji Parish, Berěbudbǐb District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Fìkh Damrăg Qos is derived from the Constructi language, as Fìkh Damrăg Qos was founded by Dyepîpí Zleg̈ga, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Fìkh Damrăg Qos has a yearly average temperature of 17°C (62°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 11°C (51°F). Fìkh Damrăg Qos receives an average of 247 cm/y (97 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Fìkh Damrăg Qos was founded durring the late 14th century in fall of the year 1272, by Dyepîpí Zleg̈ga. The establishment of Fìkh Damrăg Qos was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Fìkh Damrăg Qos's construction back out of the project. Dyepîpí Zleg̈ga pushed on reguardles, and Fìkh Damrăg Qos was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fìkh Damrăg Qos is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos is buildings are speckled and packed arround restrictive packed earth streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Fìkh Damrăg Qos's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. Astonishigly, the monster and outlaw focused fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

The first thing you notice about Fìkh Damrăg Qos is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Fìkh Damrăg Qos's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Fìkh Damrăg Qos's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Fìkh Damrăg Qos's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is long in Fìkh Damrăg Qos.

The Caypup near Fìkh Damrăg Qos are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Fìkh Damrăg Qos's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves consuming a local toxin to channel Invocation energies of tier 3 via proclamations.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century a great windstorm struck Fìkh Damrăg Qos. Its winds were so great they picked up unsecured objects and flung them with enough force to smash brick and skull alike. Buildings collapsed under the gale, burying countless people alive. The storm's devistation was focused on the area arround Fìkh Damrăg Qos, which lost 296 people, 315, and 67 livestock in the disaster.. History remembers the strom as The Storm of Calamity.

History
